OK. I lied about the filter. No. I didn't lie. I have a gross of fresh filters ready to be slammed into place at a moment's notice but like a wet nappy the old one has to come off first... you get the picture.
I've spent the last two days with my jaw on the ground and that's all I got to say about that. Culture shock; I'm dog paddling. I'm probably going to have to roll over on my back now and then and work out how to just sort of float because at one point I had to resort to a sort of dead man's float and that didn't go over so well but let me tell you...

Nothing is wrong with these people; nothing at all, actually. I've just never been here before other than in the backdoor as a consultant so at least I recognize it.
A lot of deep breaths and Cielo, thank you for the Lizard distractions. I'm off now. There's an all hands meeting in the auditorium and I have SO MUCH TO SAY.

Look at it as a sociological study in a world that is so different from reality as to be interesting in an abstract way. Or, at least that is how I view working on a military post.

Oh, and Firefox works fine on my Win7 64bit machine. 'course I use blogger, but no gripes so far. Just sayin'.
