OK, now I remember. It's just been awhile. Whew. Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.... here's how this works. Every time. I swearz to it.
Alecto and Abrupt Change. Not so good. A little bit of Aspberger's perhaps; not to belabor the point but well, yeah, kind of. And if that's offensive because you don't like labels or maybe you're attached to that one, too bad. I've co-opted it for the time being given it's become as broad scope as schizophrenia in the late eighties as to become applicable for... you name it. Anyway, I figured if it's good enough for New Jersey, it's good enough for me. Have I pissed anybody off yet? Probably have to work harder than that around here but good lord, I'm on a rip. Bear with me, I'm trying to make a point AND get this out of my system. I have to go back to work this morning and
THERE'S NOBODY HERE BUT US CHICKENS!
Nope, that wasn't it. Try again.
THERE'S NOBODY HERE TO WIPE ME OFF WHEN I DROOL ALL OVER MYSELF!
Yep, that's about the truth of it.
Whoo boy.
Dammit.
So what I totally forgot was that I'm supposed to shut my mouth and tell myself I'm temporarily insane for as long as it takes to acclimate. Every single time. Yep. Always. Each and every move. Totally forgot that. There is to be no inflicting Alecto into the environment until Alecto has acclimated. Alecto is to be kept in an isolation chamber until acclimated. Anybody can make an isolation chamber, it's...
Sort of like introducing a fish into a new tank. You leave the fish in the bag of water it came home in and float it (THE FISH!!!) in the tank. In it's bag of water. For as long as it takes. Before you release it into the tank. It's also a DYI project. By the way.
In the mean time what I'm supposed to be doing is channeling the most insipidly agreeable person I know.
Iago.
Works every time.
TOE TAL LY 4-got.
Can somebody pass the drool cup?
Pliz and thenk you,
The Lizard Queen
I've totally forgotten the context but I remember one time a long time ago I was saying something about not liking change, or not doing change well, or something, and you speculated that I did change just fine thank you, I just didn't like it. So, remember that.

Hubby sings this song for who knows what reason, frequently.
