Yea for backups. My Asus netbook hard drive crumbled into pieces a week after I got down here. I had a geek friend call Best Buy (where I bought mine...) and he verified the warranty. So I sent it to my 80yo Mom, who took it in for the warranty repair, complete with receipt. The geek squad guy sadly told her about how it was the HD and they probably couldn't get anything off it. Mom said I'd already told her that. Heck, I heard it fly apart when I turned it on. So, I got it back in good time and all was well. Hope your story has as happy an ending.

So, the comment from Cheap Pandora congratulating you on how you expose. Could be legit. The link goes to something called pandorabraceletforsale or something like that. I didn't click. Just checking in to see if the hard drive is back.

The extra effort in making second copies of all your computer files is nothing compared to the inconvenience of having to redo earlier work. Like you, I do back-up my files every now and then -- doing so surely removes all fears about losing important files. Have a wonderful spring!

Fortunately, you were able to backup the files before it blew up - that's what I call preparation. For double-protection of files, I suggest that you should have an online back-up also. Just make sure that the site is a reliable that you can be assured that your files are safe.
