I'm going to email you a sweater pattern, top down, in the round. Ignore the short row part if the pattern and just do it.

OK, I'm in. I surrender. I will knit a sweater in the round top down even though the thought of it horrifies me because I can't imagine how that could possibly happen. I will follow the instructions which include not thinking about it. I'm going to have to perform surgery on the lace scarf, by the way. I meant to put a single twist in the damn thing but I've got two, possibly three (why I can't tell if I have two or three is beyond me) and I am NOT going to rip this thing out. I'm pretty sure because it's tight enough and the tension is good and even that I can iron, fold, and sew it closed with a darning needle without too much drama. I do wonder about the use of interfacing though... ah, Alecto, don't push it.
